by car toValleGran Rey. A main tourist area on the west coast of Gomera.Only 30 km fromPlaya
Santiago but the driving time was about 6 hors by the steep and curved "spagetti roads

" when stopping en route at Garajonay National Park and small villages along the route.
By Garajonay Exprés ferry from Playa de Santiagoit takes only 20 minutes but you cannot see
much of the landscapes as sitting on deck is prohibited and the windows are grey of salt water.

This is Valle Gran Rey when descending from the mountain area.
