Why do people in the Nordic countries wish to travel south? Not only for the experience and relaxation -
it is the WEATHER in wintertime - thanks to our weather conditions the charter flights are mostly fully booked!
The pleasure of flying is history! Today most of the flights are fully booked and the cabin service has deteriorated -
no smoking and no enjoyment of good food. The flight ticket only means transportation from A to B
and one counts the time until the flight is at destination so you can disembark as soon as possible.

Costa Cruise Good food, nice private balcony. Too big and crowded ship This was to first and last similar cruise!

High price levels compared to Finland and Sweden!

Sharm el Sheikh		 Weather wintertime. Hotel standard good. Tourist village without local tough. Tourist trap. Hustlers. Not cheap. No next visit!
Kerala Can't think of much!  Cruise by "Kettuvallams"  houseboats a special
experience but too short.		 The Cochi region we visited was maybe not the best choice. There must be
places in Kerala that are more interesting, Cochi was not a good choice by our tour operator Aurinkomatkat.		 No next visit!
Goa Climate, friendly people, moderate price level, seafood cheap.
Lovely beaches		 Long and tiresome flight,  Airport handling Goa Very close to our ideal
vacation destination. 
After 2nd trip we keep a pause!
Madeira A flourishing island with a gentle climate. Low criminality - Safe environments. Increasing tourist flow. Intensified construction of new hotels, hoisting cranes all along the coastlines degenerating the views.

 Must avoid the Lido district and
try to find more authentic and genuine environs if there will be a next trip.
Canary Islands Climate. Good service standard. Most islands too crowded - thousands of tourists!
Too commercial.		 Doubtful.
Azores Definitely not a mass tourism destination. No charter traffic. Ideal for nature lovers. 9 islands - all with their own individual characteristic. A bit far away. Mid Atlantic climate somewhat unstable. Ponta Delgada in São Miguel starts to have similarities of Madeira but there are other genuine islands. ?
Gambia Sunshine and warm climate even wintertime. Relatively close. True African atmosphere. Good hotel standard. Charter destination - quite a lot of tourists. Landscapes not breathtaking. A cultural chock outside hotel areas. Cannot avoid "bumsters" offering their services - frustrating. Once is enough!
Balearic Islands Short flying time from Scandinavia. Climate is fine except in mid-winter. Mallorca has improved the tourist profile and trying to get rid of the mass tourism image. Experiences of Ibiza negative. Tourist areas like San Antoni we do not recommend. Mallorca YES
Ibiza NO
Malta A Mecca for those interested in archeology. A typical charter destination.  Not our island!
Cyprus Climate reasonably good. Charter destination. Island divided in two parts.  Far from first choice.
Timeshare NO! ....  ...  we quit because
 charges and  maintenance 
fees too high.
