A review of our trip to Prague April 20-23, 2005

Prague is a nice and beautiful town to visit especially before the high season.
Situated in the middle of Europe it is easy reachable from everywhere.
Only 2 hours flight time from Helsinki makes it also popular to Finnish tourists.
Prague airport is modern and well organized!

CEDAZ Minibus shuttle
took us directly and safely to and from the hotel for only 500CZK one-way.

The center of the town is always crowded with tourists!
We were lucky to have chosen Hotel Aron in the Zizkov area.
Reserved online through HRS and paid 70 € per night for 2 persons including breakfast buffet.

Ordinary Czech food is not exactly a gastronomic highlight, always well done and somewhat heavy.
All restaurants and bars do not have an English menu so we had some trouble ordering.
,,
Here you drink mostly beer. We enjoyed Czech beer of several breweries. Cheap!

During these 3 days we visited most of the major sights.. se Prague overview
The weather was sunny and nice every day!

The evening cruise on the Vltava river with dinner we cannot recommend.
You don't see the illuminated Prague very well from the boat and for the same price
you can enjoy a luxury meal at any of the Prague top class restaurants.
