This was our 2nd trip to Phuket.
Last time was in 1978!
Phuket has been spoilt by mass tourism
and reminds us of the Canary Islands today!
This we were well aware of in advance
but it was nice to visit again though.

We were lucky to find a quiet corner at Kamala Bay
and a pleasant hotel with  an enchanting ocean view
from our terrace - Kamala Bay Terrace Resort

We returned to Phuket after 2 weeks in
Phi Phi and KohLanta and stayed  at the 
 more crowded deluxe Kata Beach Resort

What my travel agent said is very true:
"Today it is almost impossible to find 
the ideal destination I am looking for!"
