Reserve, 5 years or older  Special Reserve, 10 years or older  Extra Reserve, 15 years or older Garrafeira (wintage), min.20 years old The older the better - but look at the price tag! In the wine factory shops in Funchal you might find a vintage of the year you were born ! d'Oliveiras Verdelho year 1850 has a price tag of about 700 € per bottle!
