November was, if not quit a disappointment, not in it’s favour this
time of the year!
The season was over and due to lack
of tourists many places were closed and the service not up-to-date. It
seemed like the personnel had had enough for this year and not willing
to do their best. We had received confirmation for an apartment in Torrent
Bay Club but on arrival we found it CLOSED without any pre-warning to us.
Finally we found out that we were offered a substitute lodging at the Ses
Fontanellas Plaza further along the San Antoni
Bay road. The surroundings were not as peaceful and the establishments
all along the road reminded us of a Hollywood ghost town more than
a tourist area. Luckily enough we had hired a car for the whole week from
Hertz and could escape to the countryside where we found more typical villages.
