We took a direct charter flight, Finnair B757
to Tenerife Sur-Reina Sofia (TFS) airport only about 6-7 hours from Helsinki.
The flight was late to Tenerife so we missed the13:55 ferry to Playa Santiago
and waited at Los Christianos a few hours and took Fred Olesen ferry to San Sebastian instead.
From there a taxi over the mountains, 30 km, 1 hours to our final destination

What did we do during two weeks?>>>>
La Gomera is a small island away from the the other hectic Canary islands. and not too many tourists come here for longer  vacation periods than day trips from Tenerife.
Its very placid. Our stay of two weeks was relaxing.
Playa de Santiago is a small resort  village with apartments houses,  a few restaurants and shops.
The supply was very limited and the restaurant menu's boring, so we had most of our meals  in our apartment after trying them all
Everything is imported here and that reflects the price level.
The only hotel is Jardín Tecina, fenced like a fortress with a boom at the entrance to prevent outsiders to entrance the premises. Not very inviting, so we did not visit this hotel during our stay.

We hired a car for three days and drove around the island
The rest of the time we walked in Playa Santisgo and visited
San Sebastian by ferry.
