The benefit of this is that I don't need to convert  to DVD-Video format and burn a DVD for my  player in the sitting room. I can just sit in the sofa and watch any movie or slide show running in the PC on my TV screen from downstairs.  Digiality AV-Link 2 has an AVL-T1 transmitter connected to the PC Video Out and a receiver AVL-R1 connected to the TV.  PC monitor screen has to be set to  800x600 resolution everything you have on the PC screen is seen in the TV monitor as well. AV-Link works on 2,4GHz frequency and the range is about 30-80 meters.

I can also use my laptop in the living roomwith the Av-Link  and watch what's in my computer e.g. movies or photographs.
